Common FAQs

  • Yes, deliverance is completely biblical and an essential part of Jesus’ ministry. Scripture makes it clear that freedom from demonic oppression is the inheritance of every believer (Mark 7:27). In other words, freedom belongs to God’s people. It is not rare, strange, or uncommon to need deliverance. It is a right of those who belong to Him.

Jesus also commissioned His followers to continue this work. In Mark 16:17, He said, “These signs will follow those who believe: in My name they will cast out demons.” Deliverance is part of the Great Commission. It isn’t just biblical, it is a core expression of Jesus’ love, authority, and power at work in the lives of people today.

  • A demon cannot possess a born-again believer’s spirit, because it belongs to God. A Christian can be demonized and oppressed by demonic spirits with the goal to gain access and authority into the person’s soul.

  • Not every struggle or challenge is a demonic spirit, but many recurring, unexplainable, or stubborn issues can be. Below are common signs that may indicate you need deliverance:

    • Persistent fear, anxiety, or torment

    • Nightmares or night terrors

    • Intrusive thoughts, mental torment, shame, or condemnation

    • Addictions or recurring sinful patterns you cannot break

    • Chronic heaviness, depression, or hopelessness

    • Feeling spiritually blocked or disconnected from God

    • Generational patterns or family strongholds

    • Repeated cycles of failure in relationships, finances, or health

    • Feeling consistently held back or delayed

    • Ongoing spiritual oppression or regression

    • Mental, emotional, or relational struggles

    • Persistent poverty or financial attacks

    • Unexplained illnesses, afflictions, or accidents

If you see yourself in several of these areas, deliverance may be a crucial step toward the freedom Jesus already secured for you.
