Praying the Right Way

Do you feel as though you are struggling with knowing how or what to pray? Have you made your requests known to God, yet you still haven't received any answers? 

Well, Jesus teaches a Kingdom Principle of Prayer that will help make sure that you are hitting a bullseye in the spiritual realm with your prayers. He teaches this principle of prayer in Matthew 6:5-13. He starts by walking you through how you shouldn’t pray and he encourages you to pray earnestly and sincerely to God. When you pray, don’t try to copy how you have heard people pray. Just be yourself with God. 

As you continue to read these verses in the scriptures, Jesus reveals the basic foundation of prayer in what you might know as the Lord’s Prayer. He tells you, line by line, exactly how you as a believer should pray. And he shows what your heart posture should look like. 

The Lord’s Prayer is not about mindless or vain repetition. It is the blueprint to learning how to effectively pray to receive what God already promised you in his word.
