Marriage In The Kingdom of God
Marriage in the Kingdom of God is meant for dominion. In order to have, hold, and maintain dominion each individual must first go through a process of purging, purification, and purity before coming together as one in what the Kingdom of God recognizes as being a God-ordained marriage.
God’s Purging Process
Purge (Timestamp 13:28)
Purging is the first important key in preparing to receive your Kingdom spouse. To be found and crowned by your King, it's necessary for deliverance, repentance, and confession to take place. In this time of preparation before God, it's important to come out of some things and come into some things as the Holy Spirit leads you. In this purging season is where you will be dispossessing and overthrowing the enemy. God will call you to sever soul ties and old relationships that can not and should not go with you into your purification season and beyond. If you're one who's been bound in sexual immorality in any shape, fashion, or form through; lust, perversion, fornication, pornography, masturbation, etc. - you must place these things on the altar before God to purge them from you. It is imperative that you ask God what needs to go, what needs to leave, and what needs to be purged from my life.
Purification and Sanctification
2. Purification (Timestamp 19:29)
Preparing to be purified or going through a purification process requires a spiritual detox and a soul cleansing. A human's soul is what becomes bound by the enemy, and your mind, will and emotions are trapped in this space. As you prepare to go through deliverance, which was number one, the first key of purging, you will be brought into a season of healing and purification which rids yourself of impurity. You cannot sweep this under the rug. You may even be led to go on a fast, a soul fast, where you're dealing with the things of your soul that are impure. It is in this step where you are cleansed by and through the Holy Spirit.
Purity In The Kingdom of God
3. Purity (Timestamp 38:56)
Purity is the last key. Purity and holiness are necessary for your walk in the natural and in the spirit. We prepare for marriage in the same manner as we prepare to be brides of Christ. As the bride of Christ, you must learn how to walk in purity and holiness before God - this means you must also learn how to be a bondservant in the way God intended because this servitude will carry over into marriage. There is a kingdom purpose and assignment attached to each God-ordained marriage, and it has nothing to do with the cake, venue, dress, or ring. During the purity step God will be sure that your heart is clear and pure and that your innermost intentions for marriage align with His. God's ultimate goal for your marriage is to use it to bring about purpose and advance the Kingdom of God in the earth. It is a partnership where you are to serve one another and the Lord Jesus Christ as one.
