5 Keys For How To Access The Promises Of God
Be Encouraged! (Timestamp 1:09)
Access the promises of God by believing that they are closer than they appear.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” - Joshua 1:9
2. Soak In The Lord’s Presence. (Timestamp 2:25)
It’s important to know where you are in this specific season. Discern your season by calling on and asking the Holy Spirit.
Check your movement. Are you moving at all? If not, ask the Holy Spirit why.
It’s important to know where you are, even in the midst of the movement.
Gather scripture to meditate on.
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore,” - Psalm 16:11
3. Don’t Give Up, But Contend For The Promises Of God. (Timestamp 6:02 and 14:29)
Don’t give up too soon. Wait and rest in the Lord.
The promise may not come in the way that is expected, but it is the way that God intended.
Access the promises of God by continuing to pray, fast, and consecrate before the Lord.
“The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him,” - Lamentations 3:25
4. Faith Is Required. (Timestamp 6:15)
Pray for a greater measure of faith.
Understand that it’s impossible to please God without faith.
Remember you only need a mustard size seed of faith.
“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him,” - Hebrews 11:6
5. Prepare And Posture Your Heart And Mind. (Timestamp 13:52)
Don’t contend or prepare out of the heart of your own selfish desires, but from the desires of the Lord.
“And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will,” - Matthew 26:39
