What Does It Mean To Give God Your Yes? - Submit & Surrender

What Does It Mean To Give God Your Yes?

Giving God Your Yes Means:

  1. To yoke your faith with the kingdom of God.

  2. To posture your heart, position your mind, and place yourself in a space where you allow the Lord to have his entire way in and through your life.

  3. To believe and receive His divine will and plan for your destiny.

  4. To allow the Holy Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to refine, define, and align your life with your Kingdom assignment.

  5. To take up your cross daily and walk with Jesus.

God is looking at the heart. Do you have a heart to serve, obey, and be humble before him? Obedience is what God is after. Do not be deceived in this day. Give Him your yes - for it is your yes that will open up the windows of heaven.

Yield To God and Receive God’s Promise For Prosperity

God promises prosperity to all those who yield and submit to Him, according to Job 22:21. God desires to see you move forward and rise in your authority. He wants the things that are written in the book of destiny to come forth in your life. God wants to give you new wine and new wineskins. He wants to give you a fresh new mindset. If it is yours - to be married, to have children, to build a business, to write a book, to advance the kingdom of God then let God have His way! Invite him in and let go of the things that God is saying no to.

The Lord has already gone yet ahead of you. You may be concerned about things that you haven't been able to figure out. Take into consideration that the Lord has already figured it out. He has already sent his angels to charge over thee in the name of Jesus.

For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ, they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God.
— 2 Corinthians 1:20 AMP

What Keeps Us From Saying “Yes” To God?

God’s promises are great, but many times it is false belief systems and deception that keep us from ever seeking and saying yes to God’s perfect will for our lives.

Have you ever had these thoughts, “I have my life all planned and plotted out?” OR “I know exactly what I need and I’m going to give God my prayer list?”

The list may have looked something like this…

“God help me with this.”

“God give me that.”

“God take this away.”

However, learning how to pivot, shift, partner, pray, and wait on God is what truly gives us access to His divine purpose. We have plans, but so does He. His are bigger, better, and greater.

Meditate on this verse: Jeremiah 29:11

What Are The Main Questions To Ask When Trying To Discern The Will Of God?

Discerning the will of God is tough when the heart is far from Him. Sometimes we think we know what we need and most times we talk entirely too much - never really asking God what He wants from us in the process.

Ask yourself today - Do I have a heart that wants to commit to the will of the father OR do I just want what He has? If you resonate with the former and are willing to commit to Jesus, then I urge you to write down these questions and spend some time listening to the Father as He answers them.

  1. Am I in the right space and place?

  2. Am I connected to the right people?

  3. Do you want me to disconnect from something? What about reconnect?

  4. What is it that you need from me in this season?

Yield, Submit, and Surrender To God

The next step is to yield, submit, and surrender those things that have kept you stale, stagnant, and stuck. Denounce the Kingdom of Darkness and choose to step into the Kingdom of Heaven.

All that you need will be found in the Kingdom - for the word of God says, in Matthew 6:33, to seek ye first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all of these things shall be added unto you. So, whatever it is that you seek,  want, and desire, if it is in accordance with God's divine plan and destiny for your life - just yield to his will and I assure you that He will not withhold any good thing from you.

Give Him a firm yes. No looking back, to the left or the right - but look above to where your help comes from [Psalm 121:1].

God is saying to you today - just give me your heart, your time, all that you are, all that you have. And I will give you all that is needed in accordance to my riches and glory. In Jesus' name, you have all that you need.

Recite This Prayer If You Want To Say YES To God:

Congratulations! God is so pleased that you are ready and willing to surrender to Him -  your life will never be the same! Recite this prayer today:

Dear Father God,

I am here, as I already know that you are here with me. Let me be a living sacrifice unto you. Allow me, Father, to be a yielded vessel for your will, way, and word - allow me to do your work in the earth. I will yield, submit, and surrender to your divine will and assignment. Release your biblical blueprint for my life and reveal to me the next steps in walking this surrendered life out. I will not yield to my own way. I will not consider myself above You. I commit my life unto You - My Lord and My Master. Lord Jesus, and Father God, give me grace - but may I not abuse your grace. May I not use your grace as an excuse to sin. I ask you Father to crucify my flesh by fire in the name of Jesus.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen
